BOOKING INFORMATION
1. Securing your booking
Contracts will be issued once the finer details of your booking have been agreed (i.e. timings, location, technical considerations). Your booking will be secured once we have received your signed contract and a booking deposit for 50% of the total fee.
2. Holding a date
We will hold a date for up to 14 days for a non-refundable booking deposit of £1,000+vat (Get Funked and DJ Live), or a non-refundable booking deposit of £500+vat (Get Funked Compact and DJ Live Lite). We will happily pencil a date for you free of charge, however due to the high number of enquiries we receive, we are not able to guarantee availability without taking a holding deposit.
3. Payment terms
50% of the total booking fee will be required to secure your booking. The remaining 50% balance will be due 28 days prior to your event. We do not offer credit facilities or payment on account.
4. Cancellation terms
Cancellation within 48 hours of confirmation will not carry a cancellation fee unless the event is within the following 28 days, in which case the full booking fee will be due.
Cancellation after 48 hours of confirmation and up to 90 days prior to the event will result in loss of deposit and 50% of the remaining balance. Cancellation after 48 hours of confirmation and up to 60 days prior to the event will result in loss of deposit and 75% of the remaining balance. Cancellation after 48 hours of confirmation and within 60 days of the event will result in loss of deposit and 100% of the remaining balance. If, in the event of cancelation, Get Funked are able to book an alternative show on the same date with the same personnel, your booking will be refunded less any expenses or losses.

6. Charity events
Get Funked offer (subject to availability) a 20% discount to all registered charities, social enterprises, NGOs and NPOs for legitimate fundraising events. Where the event organiser is a corporation or private individual the full fee will be charged and a public donation of 20% of the band’s fee will be made to the relevant charity upon completion of the event.
7. Repertoire and requests
Get Funked & DJ Live have a vast repertoire and will always perform requests where possible. With the exception of fully bespoke events where specific repertoire forms part of the band’s contract, the band reserve the right to select repertoire using their best judgment on the night of the event. For weddings, Get Funked will happily perform a first dance of the client’s choosing, providing 30 days notice has been given. Repertoire guides are available online at: www.getfunked.com/resources
8. Personnel and requests
Get Funked & DJ Live work with a team of over 60 musicians, vocalists, dancers and crew. Requests for specific members of the band’s personnel will always be honoured where possible, however to guarantee specific personnel the performers must be contracted individually. There will be a charge of £600+vat per performer for this service.
9. Costume
Get Funked and DJ Live offer several costume options. Get Funked Compact and DJ Live Lite usually work to a black, white and silver colour scheme.
10. Hospitality rider
Get Funked & DJ Live require a dressing room, catering and refreshments to be made available upon arrival, onsite at your performance venue. Detailed hospitality riders are available online at: www.getfunked.com/resources

12. Staging / footprint
Recommended minimum stage dimensions are clearly detailed on this document as well as on all of our technical documentation. It is important to understand that production equipment (i.e. PA systems, mixing consoles, lighting and draping etc.) will have an additional footprint on the area surrounding the stage. If you are at all concerned about the available space within your venue, please contact us to discuss it prior to booking.
13. Power (UK only)
All of our lineups require 13 amp mains power to be supplied to the stage area. The production packages supplied with Get Funked Compact and DJ Live Lite are also designed to run from 13 amp mains power. The larger production packages offered by Get Funked and DJ Live require 32 or 63 amp 3-phase power (subject to the exact combination of packages).
14. Parking (UK only)
Parking is required for all band and production vehicles locally to the venue at no cost to Get Funked.
15. Access (UK only)
Prices quoted in this document assume there will be clear, safe and level access close to the performance location. For venues where loading is difficult (e.g. steps, stairs, grass, gravel, public loading bays, lifts or long distances) more time and/or crew will be required.
16. Health and safety / insurance
Get Funked and all of our production partners hold a minimum of £5 million Public Liability Insurance. Risk Assessments and Method Statements are available upon request. All equipment is regularly tested for electrical safety.
17. Sound limiters
For venues with sound limiters we recommend DJ Live or DJ Live Lite. Sound limiters struggle with instruments such as trumpets, drums and bass guitars. Recorded backing tracks are digitally compressed and limited. Consequently they are much more suited to venues with sound limiters.
18. VAT
All prices are exclusive of VAT.
